God created male and female with the capacity and desire to engage in sexual intercourse and instructed them to be fruitful and multiply (Gen.1:27, 28). Man was to cleave unto his wife and produce offspring (Gen.2:24). There was no ╥justice of the peace╙ to marry Adam and Eve. God had made them husband and wife and approved their sexual relations (Gen.4:1). Later, because persons were perverting God╒s original blueprint for sex, laws were given by God and by societal leaders, to govern sex and marriage. These laws were so people could know what was right and what was wrong regarding sex. Sex is ╥right╙ when it is in accordance with God╒s laws and the laws of the land (when the laws of the land do not conflict with God╒s laws).
